Wojciech’s passion for success doesn’t stop when he leaves the office

Sport

Sports play an important part in his life and he believes that they help us all to explore various crucial aspects of our inner selves. Whether he is pushing himself to the limit in individual disciplines (such as cycling, triathlons or ironman competitions), or joining and supporting team games (such as volleyball or football), he is totally dedicated to ensuring the best possible performances. He believes that the lessons we can learn from sports are entirely applicable to the rest of our lives. The drive to reach one’s full potential, combined with the inter-dependency and need for mutual support that come from working as part of a team, teach us something important both for business and for life in general.

Charity

Wojciech is a long-term supporter of numerous charitable causes, from war veterans to homelessness. One such charity with which Wojciech is very active is the Between Heaven and Earth foundation. He sits as part of a small pro bono management board that raises money to finance medicines, rehabilitation, health equipment and other necessary treatment and support for terminally-ill children and their families. Aside from helping to fund direct treatment for sick children, the charity also provides psychological support for their family members and helps to pay for necessary renovations or refittings to family homes and everyday household bills that they might otherwise be unable to pay. Wojciech has helped the charity to assist tens of families and to bring some sunshine and positivity to extremely difficult family situations. To see more on how the charity works and what a difference it makes, see here. Wojciech has also conceived and organised a number of charitable fund- raising activities, such as charitable auctions and the annual charitable initiative amongst lawyers called “lawyers read to children”.

Hobby

Wojciech’s main hobby is sport and he enjoys participating and supporting individual and team sports alike. He believes that sports provide relaxation whilst also enabling him to focus on his  performance, to break through barriers which previously seemed impenetrable and to achieve results that are only possible by harnessing the collective strengths of a fully-functioning team. Wojciech has completed five Ironman 70.3 triathlon races and Ironman Barcelona 2019. He also practices daily the Wim Hof Method and prides himself on being the Iceman. Whether he is performing in cycling events, triathlons or ironman competitions, playing as part of a team game or merely supporting others to achieve their goals, Wojciech gains tremendously positive energy from his sporting activities and utilises it in all other areas of his life. Life is not only about maximising performance and high-adrenaline activities. Everyone needs time to take a step back and enjoy the beauty and wonder that the world has to offer. For that reason, Wojciech is an avid collector of art, particularly modern Polish art and international artists from the 19th century. He also enjoys reading about history and especially the Napoleonic period, from which he believes many valuable lessons are to be learned.

Wojciech’s love for nature played an important part in his decision to begin his business career with a company involved in forestry, which he later expanded to include crop production, dairy farming and renewable energy production. His love of nature continues and he aspires to live in harmony with the world around him. This entails numerous activities, from practicing mindfulness and meditation to dog-breeding (Beaucerons and Swiss Shepherds) and tending to his garden.
